Home Care Services Offered
Welcome to Homewatch CareGivers, where wellness care meets entrepreneurial opportunity! As a franchise owner, you're not just joining a business; you're entering a growing industry with a significant impact. A Forbes study found that 92% of older adults preferred to live out their later years in their current home rather than nursing home care. As a home care franchisee, you can help clients age in place.
With an aging population and a growing preference for in-home care, the home care industry is projected to reach $225 billion by 2024. At Homewatch CareGivers, we empower franchise owners to tap into this lucrative market while providing essential support and companionship to those in need. Seniors make up the fastest-growing population in the US, which has major implications for our industry.

Our Homewatch CareGivers franchise locations offer a full range of home care services, from wellness care to complex personal care, as well as care coordination with nurse oversight as state licensing allows. Turn Your Love Into Community Service
Many of the franchisees at Homewatch CareGivers share the same origin point: many franchise owners got into home care, not as entrepreneurs, but as family members. Having to care for mothers, fathers, children, or spouses helped them realize the power that good home care could have on quality of life. These experiences are what drove many owners to start providing home care services for others who were in the same position.
Listen to franchisees share their stories directly about how caring for a loved one inspired them to provide the same care to others in the community.

Home Care vs. Home Health
What is Home Care?
Homewatch CareGivers franchise owners hire home care aides and certified nursing assistants to provide companionship and personal care services. The goal of home care is to allow an individual to remain in their preferred environment for as long as possible. Home health care services are typically paid for through private pay or long-term care insurance, and sometimes through Medicaid or VA programs.
What Is Home Health Care?
Home health care covers a wide array of skilled services in the home with the goal of treating an illness or injury. Home health care is usually intermittent, or short-term. Since services are intended to treat or cure, home health care is often paid for by Medicare, Medicaid, or health insurance benefits.
Home care and home health care are often confused with one another, but they often work together in the home to care for a patient’s full range of needs. Though home care agencies like ours are regulated in many states, our services at Homewatch CareGivers are generally not therapeutic or curative in nature and, therefore, are not covered by Medicare or health insurance.
